The Faceless | PROJECT CONVERGENCE: Phase 4 | Operation Last Light |

Welcome to Project Convergence. Project Convergence is a major infrastructure project. The goal is to build an independent network that can support future operations without relying on normal city systems. The Faceless have already been building parts of this network in the background, and now all of you are being brought in for the next stage. The project is built around relay nodes placed across the state. Think of these nodes like connection points. On their own, each one can only do so much. But once they are all connected, they will create a much larger system that can be used for communication, power, signal control, synchronization, and future operations. There are four main phases to Project Convergence. The first three phases have already been completed. Phase 1 was about getting the relay hardware. Phase 2 was about recovering the synchronization systems. Phase 3 was about securing the power infrastructure. Now we are moving into the final phase. Tonight is Operation Last Light. The objective of Operation Last Light is to locate, secure, and extract a Dark Stone systems engineer known as Engineer One. He is important because he knows how to properly align and connect the network. His skills include relay synchronization, system calibration, communication architecture, and network alignment. In simple terms, we need this engineer because the system cannot be fully activated without him. This operation is not going to be simple. You are going to be taking a Dark Stone engineer while avoiding Dark Stone forces, and possibly the police as well. That means this mission will require strong drivers, fast decision-making, and people who can stay calm while being chased. There are a lot of people involved in Project Convergence, but not everyone is needed for every operation. Each person brings something different to the table. Some of you are drivers. Some of you are good under pressure. Some of you are better at solving problems. Some of you are useful in a fight. For this operation, the most important thing is getting Engineer One out safely. Operation Last Light is basically a kidnapping and extraction mission. We find Engineer One, secure him, get him out, and escape before Dark Stone or the police can stop us. If this succeeds, Project Convergence moves into its final stage.
